Q: What are the official Harvard alumni origanizations in Singapore?
A: There are two official alumni organizations in Singapore as well as the regional office for a global alumni initiative. These include

Harvard Club of Singapore (formerly known as the Harvard Association of Alumni in Singapore), which is the official club for all alumni who live or work in Singapore that is recognised by the Harvard Alumni Association.

Q: Will I have to pay dues?
A: Since 2019, the Club has been charging dues of $100 to help defray the costs of events and to hold the Annual General Meeting.
Q: How do I pay the annual dues?
A: Please sign up to pay dues here. We don’t accept cash payment.
Q: When is the Annual General Meeting (AGM)?
A: The AGM is held within three months of the end of the fiscal year (December) and can take place between January through March.
Q: What benefits do I get by becoming a dues-paying member?
A: Dues-paying members get the following benefits:

inclusion in the Club’s WhatsApp group, HCS Connect;

discounted ticket prices;
-
first to receive information about popular events;

priority access for sell-out events;

voting rights;
-
right to attend all annual general meetings and extraordinary general meetings of the Club; and

eligibility to be considered for a leadership role with the Club. Certain executive positions will receive invitations to attend annual leadership conferences in Cambridge, MA and elsewhere.
