Why Harvard’s Endowment Fund is Different

Narv’s visit to Singapore resulted in a full house event (and a waiting list) at the home of one of our strongest Club supporters, who opened up her beautiful home to 40 attendees at 8:30 am on a Monday morning.

We had a thoroughly engaging time learning from Narv his guiding principles for delivering returns that the Harvard community could always count upon to enable the delivery of the highest-quality education and world-class research. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the principle number one was to put together the best team ever and to be singularly focused on delivering returns.

Narv and his team patiently fielded questions from alumni for close to 30 minutes (standing up!) and left all of us feeling assured that Harvard’s endowment is in good hands. We also established a relationship with the Harvard Management Corporation’s Singapore office and I hope that we can continue to call upon each other to further Harvard’s mission of advancing ideas and promoting enduring knowledge that make the world a better place.
